Guthrie Jazz Banjo Festival Parade

Date: 5/24/2003
Time: 10:00 a.m.

What do you get when you put hundreds of four-string banjo players in one place, the happy music from yesteryear, antique cars, and a whole lot of smiling faces? The Guthrie Jazz Banjo Festival Parade, of course! The excitement takes place Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 10 a.m. with the parade beginning on Ash & Oklahoma Avenue and ending on First and Oklahoma at the Post Office. But that's not all; a mini-concert will also be performed immediately following the parade at the Post Office. The parade and mini-concert is FREE to the public, however, families and individuals wishing to stay for the concerts will need to purchase tickets. Performances begin at Noon on Friday, May 23, and run simultaneously throughout Historic Guthrie through Sunday, May 25, at 6:30 p.m.
