Bio:
Buddy Griffin is an entertainer that has spread the happy
sound of the tenor banjo and his unique style of humor across
the world. He has make suest appearances on the Lawrence
Welk Show, at the Branson Belle, and other local and national
venues and television shows. His musical repertoire
covers a wide range of styles.
Griffin established the Bayou Banjo Band and directed it for
14 years. He founded and directed the Jubilee Banjo Band
for 20 years and is the founder and director of the All Stars
youth banjo band. He founded and directed the Happy Time
Strummers, a senior adult ukulele band. He wrote and
published a ukulele method and instructional video.
Griffin has served on the board of directors of the
National Four-String Banjo Hall of Fame Museum, and is past
Dean of the International Banjo College.
