The beginning classes in tenor and plectrum banjo teach the student proper position reading techniques, right and left hand techniques, beginning chords, chord progressions, repertoire and and strumming patterns for songs.  The course also covers note reading and proper picking technique for single string playing.  The culmination of the course is the ability to play a few complete solos using chords and notes.  This course is for players that have missed a successful start in creating a foundation for their playing, and for the beginner that is just learning to play.  There is no experience factor for this class, come as you are, you will become a player.
