Description:
|
This core course is designed to help you to know how to play
chord melody solos on your own. You will be able to read
music, identify and locate the melody on the upper strings of
the banjo and provide the accompanying chord in the lower
strings underneath the melody. This is classically
referred to as the "Peabody Style" of playing. It is a
very full and percussive banjo style and is very definative in
sound when heard. You should have some experience in
reading music and playing at an intermediate level to get the
full benefit from this course.
