This seminar/workshop package is nine hours in length. The first section, "How to Practice", will include many useful tips in how to organize and utilize your practice time. Actually spending time on how to approach practicing the different techniques of playing the banjo will help you save time and make faster progress. This is the best course for keeping you from "getting in a rut."
"Building Chords Scales and Progressions" will assist you in learning what makes up a chord and how that chord relates to a scale and how both of those relate to a key. You will then be able to understand a few simple formulas that outline chord changes in many songs.
"Secrets to Listening and Playing by Ear" opens up a whole new world of playing to individuals who want to be better ear players. This course teaches you how to predict chord progressions in songs and helps you learn the basics of ear training.
This seminar/workshop package is excellent for the beginning player that knows how to play a few chords and has had a little experience playing songs. It is also a great class for more experienced players that would like to understand more about how music works and why songs sound the way they do.
