Brady R. Hunt
Brady R. Hunt, Midwest City, Oklahoma, has been married to his wife, Kay since 1972 and is father of two adult children. He is a practicing attorney and former municipal Judge who has operated his own legal practice since 1975. He first became associated with the banjo in 1967 playing for the Shakey's and Shotgun Sam's pizza chains. Hunt conceived and organized the award winning Guthrie Jazz Banjo Festival in 1992 which has been held annually attracting thousands to hear tenor and plectrum banjo music. Hunt created and performed at the Preservation Playhouse dinner theater in Guthrie. After commenting that a banjo museum would be a natural tie to the popularity of the banjo in Guthrie, Hunt with support from leading citizens in Guthrie, and banjoists from across America helped found the National Four-String Banjo Hall of Fame Museum, Inc. Hunt currently serves as President of the Museum.
