I'm trying to buy a banjo for my daughter who is a student at A&M.; She sings and plays an an electric guitar and has been asked to join a band to sing with them. They also need a banjo player.But I'm not sure what kind of banjo to buy. What is the difference between a four string and five string. I have found a Stelling and a Deering in Dallas but then I talked to one of the members of the Bayou Banjo Band and he has a Vega which is a four string. I really need help.
