The International Banjo College has a Beginning course for Tenor and Plectrum Banjo slated for Sept. 21-22, 2002. The course will be at the National Four String Banjo Hall of Fame Museum in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
If you want a complete nine hour course to help you get started learning the banjo, visit the Banjo College portion of the website and sign up.
If you are relatively new to learning the banjo and feel you missed some basics, this course is for you.
We will cover the basics of holding the instrument, pick, reading music and theory. We will also cover playing rhythm and lead. We will also learn to play banjo solos. This class is fun and the most comprehensive course you can take to get you started off on the right foot.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

Living in San Carlos, CA, I am looking for an
instructor who knows the plectrum banjo. I ask
that the instructor be anywhere from San Carlos
north to South San Francisco (Daly City's fine).
