Message Board - Congratulations 2004 Hall of Fame Inductees. Induction ceremony will be held May 27th, 2004 Guthrie, Oklahoma

I would like to find out any information that is available about recent nominations that where made March 13,2004 to the Banjo Hall of Fame. Anne Fox played with the Wichita Banjo Band for many years, until her untimely death April 14,2003. She had a God given musical talent that was unequaled by any other musician I have ever known. Am I prejudiced because she was my mother, no; just being honest! Music was her life! I know this because for fifty years I have heard her play and sing her heart out for the enjoyment and happiness it brought to so many. The family recently found out that she might be nominated to the Banjo Hall of fame this year, and the type of person she was, just being nominated would have been the greatest honor she could ever have known. Will anyone with information about this matter please try to notify me! It would mean the world, if my father could just find something out about this. For sixty years, she was his life, his love, his reason for living! I hope you had the opportunity to know them both, or to at least have heard her perform. Harry and Anne Fox of Capron, Oklahoma.
