Circa 1920's? from Northern Wisconsin. Want to find out more about it. Says "Bell Grand Patented N.M.S. Co." stamped in metal on lower front. Small amount of mother of pearl inlay on neck. Feels very heavy. Needs new strings but wood and drum in good shape. Is this worth restoring and learning to play? Would appreciate any comments.

I believe I have the same banjo
Small opened back.It has four steel strings.Can be played like a ukeliele.
But on the metal tab it says Bell Brand
Not Grand
N.M.S.CO. Patented
Very original condition a bit rusted but playable.
It has know pearl inlay.
I only called one shop for appraisal
I believe he said some where between 50.00
100.00 bucks
