 1920's Stromberg-Voisinet Tenor Reply »

I am in search of a replacement neck for my 1920's Stromberg-Voisinet tenor banjo. It has 19 frets and the neck is cracked and very worn out. The pot still sounds evry good. I would like to keep it a tenor but if I have to I'll convert it to a 5 string. Anyone know where all the old tenor necks are hiding, from the conversions to 5 strings?

I just acquired a "Luxor" tenor ca. 1926 at an estate sale. I'm told it was made by Stromberg-Voisinet. I was thinking about converting it to a 5-string. It is, unfortunately, missing the tension hoop. If you are interested, I'll email you a photo of the neck. It is not a fancy one, but is structurally sound.
