Slingerland 4 string banjo

Need help in finding out how to tune it. It has a very short neck, unlike tenor banjo's. do I tune it like a guitar?

How short is short?
If /very/ short, may be a ukulele banjo. In which case you'd string it with nylon strings and tune it GCEA re-entrant.

I have a short neck Slingerland and I tune it like a guitar because I'm 72 and when I got it a few years ago I decided I didn't want to learn new cords so since I tune my baritone uke that way I would tune the banjo the same way. Works fine.
