hello all banjo enthusiasts, i was wondering if anyone could give me some words of wisdom on the best way to go about amplifying a banjo without any drilling or serious work included, any info would be greatly appreciated.

there is a electric pick up that has three thin pads that fit under the bridge and one cable that can be pluged into a amplifier. i saw this several years ago at a music store in mt.prospect ill. too bad i don't remember the name of the mfg. i don't know ifits still on the market.sorry i can't be of more help.

Hi Tristan! The absolut best way to amplify a banjo is to place a Shure SM57 mike on a stand appr. 8" from the bridge. Kindly regards Polle Flaunoe - Denmark
