I have my fathers Wilson banjo which is signed by Eddie Peabody. I'm attempting to get more information on it, including a possible value. I know Wilson was started by Tom Wilson out of Chicago 1890 - 1926. The instrument has no other markings other than the Wilson circular "tag" glued inside. I'm stuck as to where to go from here. Any thoughts?

I have also acquired a Wilson banjo and am trying to find information on it. I feel as though I am searching for the "holy graile" I was wondering if you had found anything since this post, and if you would be willing to share it with me. The only other marking on mine is a patent pending stamped into the metal rim, but no date, no nothing else. If you have found anything please contact me. I will do the same
