I have a friends Supertone Banjo and am wondering how I can find out what it is worth. After some looking on the net it seems they went out of business in 1933.

If I recall correctly, the Supertone was sold by the old Sears & Robuck company.I had a tenor and found it listed in a 1929 catalog, with much info. Check some of the larger book store for old Sears catalog reproductions. They were available from the early 1900s to the middle '30s.
