Old Vega 4-string view posts

Hi -- I have an old Vega 4-string banjo in its case. I just had it put back together and put a new head on it and don't know what it might be worth. It's been in my family since the early 1900's. I'd just like to get more information on this instrument if anyone can help.

It says "Vega" on the top with some nice inlay work. It says "Vegaphone Professional" at the bottom on a silver-metal piece with a star on it. It has a wooden back.
Thanks!

I have a old banjo. I don't see any name brand on it. 5 string, no resonator. I got it for cheap at a yard sale. It had a cracked head. It took 13 months to get a head for it because, I guess it has an off-size head. I'll post a picture of it tonight and post a link to pic. Someone told me they think that it's was ordered out of a Sears and Roebuck catalogue early 1900's. But they wasn't an authority on banjo's. Any help would be appreciated. I"ll post the pic here: http://members.cox.net/sdvid if the pic's not there, try again... I'll do it tonight.

THanks,

I am writing to ask about the Cox Banjo. A co-worker has asked me to sell his banjo. It is a beautiful Cox Elite. It is in excellent condition. I am not finding any info on the internet regarding age or approx value. Can you tell me anything about a Cox banjo.?
